About Us

Dream It. Do It. Mississippi is a Pilot Initiative currently under way in an 18-county area of southeast Mississippi. The goal of Dream It. Do It. Mississippi is to create awareness among young people of the outstanding career opportunities that exist in manufacturing today and foster improvements in the system for connecting them with information, training and job opportunities in manufacturing.

Dream It. Do It. Mississippi is a partnership between the Mississippi Manufacturers Association and businesses, educators, economic developers and government agencies (read more about our partners here). It is funded through the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.

The Dream It. Do It. program was developed by The Manufacturing Institute, the research and education affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers. NAM is the nation’s largest industrial trade association, representing small and large manufacturers in every industrial sector and in all 50 states.
